Demand by households - Private consumption expenditure (C)
Demand by firms - Private investment expenditure (I)
Demand by government - Government expenditure (G)
Demand by foreign sector- Net exports (X – M)
Where, X is exports and M is imports.
Thus, AD = C + I + G + (X – M)
