Newland’s Law of Octaves: “When elements are arranged in order of increasing atomic masses, the properties of every eighth element (starting from any element) are the repetition of the properties of that starting element.
Examples:
Li (first element)
Na (eighth element)
Ca
Properties of sodium are similar to lithium and that of Ca is similar to sodium.
