उत्तर

  1. Two or More Persons: Communication can take place only when there are at least two persons, a sender and a receiver. Sender or communicator is the person who speaks, writes or makes a gesture. Receiver or communicatee is the person who listens, reads or observes.
  2. Two-Way Process: Communication is a two-way process. It is only complete when the receiver fully understands the message and the sender is aware of the receiver's response or reaction. Communication involves not just transmitting a message, but also ensuring that the message is understood.
  3. Continuous Process: A business organization cannot operate efficiently without the continuous flow of ideas, opinions, and facts among its members. Regular interaction with external parties is also essential. Hence, communication is not a one-time event but a constant and ongoing process.
  4. Pervasive Function: Communication is vital in all types of organizations and across every department. It is a responsibility shared by every manager.
