उत्तर
The given system of equation is
3x − 7y + 10 = 0 ...(i)
y - 2x - 3 = 0 ...(ii)
∴ y = 2x + 3 ...(iii)
Substituting y = 2x + 3 in (i), we get,
3x − 7y + 10 = 0
3x - 7(2x + 3) + 10 = 0
3x - 14x - 21 + 10 = 0
-11x - 11 = 0
-11x = 11
x = `11/-11` = - 1
Putting x = 1 in y = 2x + 3 equation (iii), we get,
y = 2x + 3
y = 2(- 1) + 3
y = - 2 + 3
y = 1
Hence, the solution of the given system of equations is x = - 1, y = 1.
