उत्तर
x - 3y = 1
x - 1 = 3y
∴ 3y = x - 1
∴ y = `(x - 1)/3`
| x | 1 | 4 | 7 |
| y | 0 | 1 | 2 |
| (x,y) | (1,0) | (4,1) | (7,2) |
3x – 2y + 4 = 0
3x + 4 = 2y
2y = 3x + 4
∴ y − `(3x + 4)/2`
| x | 0 | 2 | -2 |
| y | 2 | 5 | -1 |
| (x,y) | (0,2) | (2,5) | (-2,-1) |

The solution of the given equations is the point of intersection of the two lines, i.e. (\[- 2, - 1\]
