उत्तर

Safety needs of an employee refer to their desire for physical and financial security. These needs can be fulfilled in either a positive or negative way. When satisfied positively, the employer provides job security, safe working conditions, health insurance, and retirement benefits. These steps build trust and loyalty, motivating the employee to perform better. However, if an employer uses fear or threats, such as warning of job loss or strict penalties, to force discipline or performance, it may meet safety needs in a negative way. While this might ensure short-term compliance, it often leads to stress, low morale, and a lack of commitment in the long run. Therefore, satisfying safety needs positively is more effective and ethical.
