उत्तर

Compound ‘B’ is more likely to form a greater amount of solid deposit.

According to the solubility curves, the solubility of compound ‘B’ varies sharply with temperature, while that of compound ‘A’ changes only slightly. When the temperature is lowered from 80°C to 60°C, the solubility of compound ‘B’ decreases much more than that of compound ‘A’. Therefore, a larger quantity of compound ‘B’ crystallises out from its saturated solution.
