उत्तर
- Bhangar (older alluvium): older alluvial deposits found on higher river terraces; contains lime nodules (kankar), coarser texture, and is comparatively less fertile.
- Khadar (newer alluvium): newer alluvium deposited by regular floods on floodplains; fine silt and clay, darker and more fertile because it is replenished frequently.
