1. Caste dominates Indian society and therefore has a say in politics. As stated in the textbook, wherever there is domination, it should be addressed in political science. So caste is discussed in political science.
2. Caste will not disappear from Indian politics and society just by being silent about it. It has become an integral element of our political and social systems.
