Seasonal Dynamics and Cultural Adaptations
The Rainy season unfolds from June to September, bringing with it a refreshing coolness and the necessary moisture for crops such as Bajra, Peanuts, Corn, and Soybean to flourish. Water pollution is caused to a large extent by industrial effluents and the immersion of POP idols. Sound pollution levels have increased due to blaring loudspeakers during festival time and increased volume of traffic. We need to protect our forest and conserve our mangroves. In order to solve the problem of water pollution, we need to develop effective waste management techniques. Turtles and tortoises are closely related. They are both reptiles from the same family (Testudines or Chelonian). Chandrayaan-1 was India's first mission to the moon. It launched on Oct. 22, 2008 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, India.
