(1) Total distance of school from Momun home
= Distance of pond from his home
+ width of pond + width of green field + width of road
= 400 m + 150 m + 350 m + 40 m
= 940 m
(2) As 940 m is less than 1000 m
So, it is not more than 1 km rather it is less than 1 km.
