उत्तर

  1. The cost of production is relatively high because of the poor yield, short crushing season, inefficient and unprofitable nature of production, and distance placement of sugarcane production areas from factories.

  2. Since most sugarcane is harvested at the same time, manufacturers experience increased pressure during harvest season, and some sugarcane is wasted. This raises the production costs.

  3. The price at which sugarcane is sold has an impact on cane output as well. Farmers sell their cane to companies at government-set prices; if these prices are unappealing, they move on to other crops.
