उत्तर

Counselling Psychoanalysis
Counselling mainly focuses on present problems and adjustment. Psychoanalysis mainly explores unconscious conflicts and past experiences.
It is generally shorter and more practical. It is usually long-term and intensive.
The counsellor helps the person understand problems and make suitable decisions. The psychoanalyst tries to uncover hidden motives, conflicts and repressed experiences.
It may be used for educational, vocational, personal and emotional problems. It is mainly used for deeper psychological and personality-related problems.
Counselling uses discussion, guidance and supportive techniques. Psychoanalysis uses techniques such as free association, dream analysis and interpretation.
It gives more attention to conscious thoughts and present functioning. It gives greater importance to the unconscious mind and childhood experiences.
