उत्तर
Warm ocean currents flow from equatorial regions toward poles, have higher surface temperatures, and flow on the surface as surface currents. Cold currents flow from polar regions toward the equator, have lower temperatures, are denser, and often flow as sub-surface currents. Warm currents raise coastal temperatures and increase rainfall; cold currents lower temperatures and cause less rainfall. They also differ in salinity and origin regions.
