In ΔLMN,

ray MT bisects ∠LMN

∴ `"LM"/"MN" = "LT"/"TN"`   ...(Theorem of angle bisector of a triangle)

∴ `6/10 = "LT"/8`

∴ LT = `(6 xx 8)/10`

∴ LT = 4.8
