Then, Second term − First term = Third term − Second term = d (common difference)
⇒ 2k − 1 − k = 2k + 1 − (2k − 1)
⇒ k − 1 = 2k + 1 − 2k + 1
⇒ k − 1 = 2
⇒ k = 2 + 1
⇒ k = 3
