उत्तर

100 g

Explanation:

Let,

G = weight of empty glass (g)

W = weight of water when the glass is full (g)

From the statements:

G + W = 600     ...(1)

`G + W/2 = 350`     ...(2)

Subtracting equation (2) from equation (1):

`(G + W) - (G + W/2) = 600 - 350`

`(G - G) + (W - W/2) = 250`

`0 + (1W - 1/2W) = 250`

`(1 - 1/2)W = 250`

`1/2W = 250`

(1)W = 250(2)

∴ W = 500

Now substitute W = 500 into equation (1):

G + 500 = 600

G = 600 − 500

∴ G = 100

Hence, the weight of the empty glass is 100 g.
