उत्तर

Given: I = 300 mA = 0.3 A

t = 60 seconds

Q = I × t

= 0.3 × 60

Q = 18 C

\[\ce{2 Cl− -> Cl2 + 2e-}\]

2 moles of electrons produce 1 mole of Cl2.

Moles of electrons (n) = `Q/F`

= `18/96500`

= 1.865 × 10−4 mol e

Moles of Cl2 = `(1.865 xx 10^-4)/2`

= 9.33 × 10−5 mol

Number of molecules = 9.33 × 10−5 × 6.022 × 1023

= 5.62 × 1019 molecules
