उत्तर
The inner core of the Earth is in a solid state due to the immense pressure at such great depths. Despite the high temperatures (around 4000-5000°C), the pressure at the Earth's center is so great that it prevents the iron and nickel in the core from melting. This results in the inner core remaining solid, even though the outer core, which is less under pressure, remains liquid.
