x = `10/(3 - "i")`
∴ x = `(10(3 + "i"))/((3 - "i")(3 + "i")`
= `(10(3 + "i"))/(9 - "i"^2)`
= `(10(3 + "i"))/(9 - (- 1)` ...[∵ i2 = –1]
= `(10(3 + "i"))/10`
∴ x = 3 + i
∴ x – 3 = i
∴ (x – 3)2 = i2
∴ x2 – 6x + 9 = –1 ...[∵ i2 = –1]
∴ x2 – 6x + 10 = 0 ...(i)
