Let E(−4, −2) ≡ (x₁, y₁),

F(6, 3) ≡ (x₂, y₂)

Slope of line EF = `(y _2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)`

= `(3 - (-2))/(6 - (-4))`

= `(3 + 2)/(6 + 4)`

= `5/10`

∴ Slope of line EF = `1/2`
