S.P. = Rs.1,680, Profit = 12%

C.P.=`100/((100+"profit"))xx"S.P."`

∴ C.P.=`100/((100+12))xx1680`

`=(100xx1680)/112=(25xx1680)/28`

= 25 × 60

= Rs.1500
