Explain the term Not Negotiable Crossing.

1. When the words 'Not Negotiable' are written on a cheque, the cheque does not become non-transferable.
2. But it reduces the negotiability of the cheque. Ordinarily, when the holder obtains a cheque in good faith, for consideration, and in proper form, he gets a good title to it, even if the title of the transferrer is defective.
