Soils are produced from rocks through the processes of weathering and natural erosion.
Water, wind, temperature changes, gravity, chemical interaction, living organisms, and pressure break down parent material.
It leads to the formation of loose material.
In the course of time, they further break down into fine particles and releases the locked minerals in the rock.
