Baddeley has proposed the Working Memory Model -
- Central Executive - It is responsible for the co-ordination of its subsystems and selection of storage strategies for decision making words/numbers.
- Phonological loop - It is responsible for verbal information. It includes the acoustic store and the articulatory loop.
- Episodic buffer - It includes information that is not covered by the phonological loop and visuo-spatial sketchpad.
- Visuo-spatial sketchpad - It concentrates on visual and spatial information.
