उत्तर

  1. In angiosperms, microspores are formed inside the anther’s pollen sacs called microsporangia.
  2. The hypodermal cells of the anther function as archesporial cells, which divide to form primary sporogenous cells.
  3. These primary sporogenous cells act as microspore mother cells (diploid).
  4. Each microspore mother cell undergoes meiosis to produce four haploid microspores.
  5. This process of forming microspores from microspore mother cells is called microsporogenesis.
  6. The microspores thus formed later develop into pollen grains, which are the male gametophytes.
