The Technical Swimming Committee appoints the control room supervisor. This official must check in with the Referee(s) at least 60 minutes before the competition begins to confirm their presence and receive any specific instructions. The control room supervisor oversees all operations within the Control Room, coordinating the work of Recorders, Runners, Computer Operators, and Automatic Officiating Equipment (AOE) Operators. Together with the other Control Room Officials, the supervisor will establish procedures to ensure their tasks are carried out effectively.
