उत्तर

Feature U.S.A. Political System India’s Political System
Form of Government The U.S. has a Presidential system where the President is the head of state and government. India follows a Parliamentary system with separate roles for the President (head of state) and Prime Minister (head of government).
Head of State and Government The President of the U.S. is both the head of state and head of government. In India, the President is the head of state, while the Prime Minister is the head of government.
Executive-Legislature Relation There is a strict separation of powers between the executive and the legislature. There is a fusion of powers, with the executive being accountable to the legislature (Parliament).
Executive Accountability The President is not accountable to the legislature. The Council of Ministers is collectively responsible to the Lok Sabha (lower house of Parliament).
Election of Executive The President is elected separately from the legislature through an Electoral College. The Prime Minister is elected by the majority party in the Lok Sabha, not directly by the public.
Tenure of Executive The President has a fixed term of 4 years. The Prime Minister’s tenure is not fixed; it lasts as long as they have majority support in the Lok Sabha.
Legislature The U.S. has a bicameral legislature: the Senate and the House of Representatives. India has a bicameral legislature: Rajya Sabha (Council of States) and Lok Sabha (House of the People).
Judicial Review The U.S. has a strong, independent Supreme Court with judicial review powers. India also has a strong, independent Supreme Court with the power of judicial review.
Constitution The U.S. Constitution is written, rigid, short, and concise. India’s Constitution is written, the longest, most detailed, and partly flexible.
