Explain the classification of aldehydes.

1. Aliphatic aldehydes: The compounds in which the -CHO group (formyl group) is attached directly to the sp³ hybridized carbon atom that is a saturated carbon atom.
   e.g. CH₃CHO (Acetaldehyde)
2. Aromatic aldehydes: The compounds in which the –CHO group is attached directly to an aromatic ring are called aromatic aldehydes.
   e.g.
