उत्तर
Pitch is a characteristic of the sound by which we can distinguish between different sounds of same loudness. It is the measure of shrillness of a sound. It helps us to distinguish between a man’s voice and a woman’s voice, even without seeing them. It depends on the frequency of the sound waves. Generally, woman’s voice has a higher frequency and hence a higher pitch.
