- The polymers which have only one type of repeating unit are called homopolymers.
- They are formed from a single monomer. In certain cases, the repeating unit is formed by the condensation of two distinct monomers.
e.g. Polythene, polypropene, Nylon 6, polyacrylonitrile, Nylon 6, 6.
