1. Amitate: It denotes the special position or importance given to the paternal aunt. 
   • Authority of Paternal Aunt: In certain cultures, the paternal aunt is held in great respect and enjoys a position of authority. The father’s sister often plays an influential role in family decisions, guides younger members, and helps preserve family traditions. 
   • Guardian Role: The paternal aunt also performs a protective or guardian role. She may assist in child-rearing, offer emotional and practical support to parents, and in some societies, even arrange marriages for her nephews and nieces, thereby strengthening family ties.
2. Teknonymy: It is a system of naming that is based on kinship relationships.
   • Parents Named After Children: People are identified by the names of their children, with parents being referred to through their child rather than by their own names. For example, a father may be called “Ravi’s father” and a mother “Mina’s mother.” This practice emphasizes the social importance of parenthood.
   • Respect in Society: Teknonymy also reflects respect within society. Referring to a person by their child’s name is considered an honour and provides social recognition. This practice is common in many traditional societies where family roles and relationships are highly valued.
