उत्तर
A libero is a specialist defensive player who strengthens a team’s back-row play.
- A team may designate up to two liberos from its list of players, but only one libero may be on the court at a time.
- The libero wears a uniform whose dominant colour is different from that of the rest of the team.
- The libero may replace any player in a back-row position. These replacements are unlimited and do not count as substitutions, but a rally must be completed between two libero replacements.
- The libero is restricted to back-row play. They may not serve, block, or attempt to block.
- The libero may not complete an attack hit from anywhere on the court or in the free zone if, at contact, the ball is entirely above the top of the net.
