Yes. A current-carrying wire produces a magnetic field around it. The magnetic field lines around a straight wire are concentric circles centered on the wire. The direction of the magnetic field can be found by the right-hand thumb rule: point the thumb in the direction of current, and the curled fingers show the direction of the magnetic field.
