उत्तर
When students held the object directly, heat passed from the warmer object to the cooler skin through direct contact; this is conduction. The towel acted as an insulator and slowed the heat transfer, so the object felt less hot through the towel. The amount of heat transferred also depended on the object’s material and temperature.
