उत्तर
The American Cabinet is not a constitutional body but has evolved through custom and practice. It consists of the heads of executive departments, known as Secretaries, who are appointed by the President with the approval of the Senate. These include the Secretaries of State, Defense, Treasury, and others. The President may also include other top officials in Cabinet meetings, such as the Vice President and White House Chief of Staff.
The Cabinet is chaired by the President, and it acts as an advisory body to assist him in administrative matters. However, it has no collective responsibility and no independent decision-making power. Cabinet members are individually responsible to the President and serve at his pleasure.
