उत्तर

Basis of Difference Sewage Industrial waste
Source Sewage is wastewater from homes, carried through sewers. Industrial waste is produced by factories and other industrial processes.
Typical contents It commonly contains urine, faeces and other domestic wastewater. It may contain chemicals, metals and other toxic substances.
Main pollution risk Untreated sewage can contaminate water and spread diseases such as diarrhoea and hepatitis A. Untreated industrial waste can poison aquatic life and cause effects such as immune-system suppression and reproductive failure.
Treatment Sewage should be treated at a sewage treatment plant before being discharged. Industrial effluents should be treated to remove harmful substances before discharge.
