उत्तर
The term Polar Cell refers to a convectional atmospheric circulation cell found near the Earth’s poles. In this cell, cold, dense air sinks at the poles, creating a high-pressure region. This air then moves toward the lower latitudes, near about 60° north and south, where it meets warmer air, rises, and creates a low-pressure belt called the Sub-Polar Low Pressure Belt. The rising air then moves back toward the poles at higher altitudes, cools down, and sinks again, thus completing the convection cycle.
