   • Women’s literacy rate is very low. Even if some are educated, they lack political motivation.
   • Society believes that politics is not a woman’s profession.
   • Political parties are also failing to field female candidates for elections in proportion to their population.
2. No, neither America nor Europe have achieved a suitable level of female representation. Only 29.5 per cent of women in America and 26.4 per cent in Europe serve in national parliaments. These figures are not proportional to the population of the respective countries.
