उत्तर

Conformity is a product of social interaction because it develops through our contact with other people. When we interact with others, we observe their behavior, attitudes, and expectations. To fit in, avoid conflict, or gain approval, we often adjust our behavior to match theirs. This process is known as conformity.

For example, in a classroom, if most students raise their hands to speak, a new student will likely do the same. This happens because they want to follow the group’s pattern and avoid standing out. Similarly, people follow dress codes, manners, and speech styles based on what is common in their social group.

Social interaction teaches us what is acceptable and expected. Through conversations, group activities, and shared experiences, we learn the social rules. Conformity results from this learning process, where individuals align their behavior with the group to maintain harmony and feel accepted.
