India’s situation is different. In India, the primary sector expanded, but instead of the secondary sector following the trend, the tertiary sector expanded. However, employment in the secondary and tertiary industries did not expand as swiftly. As a result, many individuals continue to work in the primary sector, which suffers from underemployment.
