Total number of out comes with numbers 2 to 101, n(s) = 100

Let E2 = Event of selecting a card which is a square number

= {4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, 100}

= {(2)2, (3)2, (4)2, (5)2, (6)2, (7)2, (8)2, (9)2, (10)2}

∴ n(E2) = 9

Hence, required probability = `(n(E_2))/(n(S)) = 9/100`
