उत्तर

Given: T = 298 K, V1 = 10 dm3, V2 = 20 dm3, n = 2, W = ?

Formula: W = −Pext.ΔV

When the gas expands in a vacuum, there is no opposing force. i.e. Pext = 0

∴ W = −Pext.ΔV

= −0 × ΔV

= 0
