उत्तर

Given: Volume of solution = 250 cm3 = 0.250 L

Normality (N) = 1 N

Acid = H2SO4 (diprotic acid, basicity = 2)

Molar mass of H2SO4 = 98 g/mol

Equivalent weight of H2SO4 = `"Molar mass"/"Basicity"`

= `98/2`

= 49 g/eq

Mass of solute = Normality × Equivalent weight × Volume (L)

Mass = 1 × 49 × 0.250

Mass = 12.25 g

12.25 g of H2SO4 is present in 250 cm3 of 1 N solution.
