Molar mass of hydrogen sulphide = (2 × 1) + (1 × 32)g = 34g
1 mole of hydrogen sulphide weighs = 34g
Therefore, mass of 0.17 moles of hydrogen sulphide = 34 × 0.17 = 5.78g
Hence, 0.17 moles of hydrogen sulphide weigh 5.78 grams.
