As the Vice Head Girl of Vidya Mandir, I wish to draw attention to the alarming rise in cyber-attacks and the urgent need to promote digital security across all age groups.

People of every demographic today face cyber threats such as phishing scams, malware, identity theft, and financial fraud. Children, senior citizens, and inexperienced users remain especially vulnerable, and lack of awareness makes them easy targets for online predators and data breaches.

It is essential to educate the public about safe online practices. Schools, organisations, and community groups must take active steps to conduct workshops on creating strong passwords, identifying online fraud, and practising safe browsing habits. Authorities must also strengthen cybersecurity policies to ensure protection for all.

I urge the media to raise widespread awareness and encourage collaboration between individuals, institutions, and the government to combat this growing threat effectively.
