उत्तर

The baby bird in “Two Stories about Flying” first has faith in itself. It is afraid of the leap and questions its capacity to fly. But as its mother encourages it to fly, it gains confidence in its own abilities and instincts. Here, faith stands for independence and conquering fear.

Conversely, Lencho’s trust in ‘A Letter to God’ is wholly based on a higher power. He thinks that God will provide him with the funds to replace the crops that the storm damaged. Despite his struggles, his unshakable faith in God demonstrates his confidence in divine intervention.

Both characters exhibit faith, but Lencho places his confidence in an outside, heavenly source, and the young seagull places his faith in its own inner strength. This shows how different types of beliefs can be displayed in times of need.
