उत्तर
Aurangzeb possessed qualities of an ideal man but he was a failure as a ruler. Like his father, he was not able to follow the policy of religious tolerance and friendship. His list of enemies not only included Rajput’s but also Sikhs and the Marathas. He was also very suspicious by nature, which was not liked by his officials. His policy of discrimination with his subjects also made him an unpopular ruler.
