∴ log10[H3O+] = –pH

= –6 – 0.06 + 1 – 1
= (–6 – 1) + 1 – 0.06
= –7 + 0.94
= `bar (7).94`
Thus, [H3O+] = Antilog10`[bar (7).94]`
= 8.710 × 10–7 M
The H+ ion concentration of the solution is 8.710 × 10–7 M.
