Taboo refers to sacred prohibition on certain things or acts which ensure order, stability and solidarity within the group. It originates from Polynesian word tabu’ which means ‘to forbid. The most important is the incest taboo. which strictly prohibits sexual relationship between primary kins and who are related by blood. ‘
